And it's always people that are less than half the size of her. She comes out like an enraged grizzly bear every time wanting to fight people who have no reason to be challenged. In every instance of Minnie's ridiculousness Tammy has defended her, unquestioned, or despite having complete knowledge that every thing Minnie said was lies and anyone that had words with Minnie were fully in their right and her daughter in the wrong and it should have stayed between the two of them and that be that.īut Tammy can't handle that. TAMMY: Tammy shows the fruit didn't fall far from the tree. This combination of those two qualities created a lot of friction among everyone for the first 3 seasons because she told one whopper of a lie after another and played that same game each time. That started another trend that would last through most of the series, this delusional denial, trying to flip the script on them so that they are somehow in the wrong and a horrible person for even suggesting. Going as far as to crying if people questioned it "how could you think such a thing of me?" Instead of copping to the fact and being done with it she held on to the lie with a death grip. She pushed so hard about this fake boyfriend, without ever really showing receipts to it being fact, that several of the group got sick of hearing about it and began to not believe her. MINNIE: Starting season 1 episode 1 she showed herself as a pathological liar (something which would continue for most the rest of the series) when she constantly mentioned her non existent relationship with Pastor Troy as stone cold truth, throughout that season.
